New Menu for New Site

We have replaced the tree based menu with a drop down style menu on the PerformancePartsandAccessories.com web site. This fixes the problem with the menu being covered up by the YouTube video screen.

Sneak Peak at New Web Site

Great news everyone. The new web site is pretty much done and as a blog reader you get the first glimpse of our new site. As stated in previous blog posts the new site is currently at the domain name PerformancePartsAndAccessories.com.

The new site is fully functional and has our most up to date products including a few coilover suspension packages for our new vendor Ksport. We will have more on this new vendor and others as we continue to work on this new site.

In a month or so we will be starting the migration process meaning that links to products at the DragonAutomotive.com domain name will be linked to the new store at PerformancePartsAndAccessories.com domain.

The New Web Site is Almost Done

Work on the new site is progressing along nicely. We have 99% of the new site done and are just finishing up the main navigation menu. The soft open for the new site is scheduled for the beginning of August 2008.

New Web Site Available Soon

The new DragonAutomotive.com web site is coming along nicely and we will be having a soft opening soon. This preview will be exclusive to our Blog readers so be sure to stop back for details and a link to our new site.

Data Center OK

The problems at the data center have been resolved. The center came back on line Monday June 2, 2008 and have been running ever since. Images are now working again. Sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused.

Temporary Server Issue

Yesterday the place that houses the TyComm portion of everything experienced an event which has taken down that entire section of my Internet domain. This has caused the images on DragonAutomotive.com to stop working along with several other web sites and email. The DragonAutomotive site will still operate and email is still working but the images won't be available until the data center has fixed the hardware problem. I am hopeful that they will have this issue fixed within the next few days. If you have any questions or want us to email you an image contact me through the web site.

Long Time New Post

Sorry, it's been a while since our last post. I've been working on other sites at Tyson Communications. Read the TyComm Blog for details on the other projects that we have going on in the web development and design world.

Status of the new site is currently ongoing and we are working through a few issues that have come up with our new shopping cart system. Our projected time frame for the new site is still on pace for the end of the year however we are going to be changing things up a bit. I am not going to be using the performancepartsandaccessories.com web site to show the new site. Instead that domain name will not be the actual shopping cart and DragonAutomotive.com will contain all of the pages that link to the various parts and accessories. It may sound a bit confusing now but it will make sense when your using the system.

The spin off site BilletGrilleStore.com is going good and has shown us some of the limitations of the new system. We will be continuing to work on that site which is part of a larger project that I have in mind. Stay tuned for more details on that.
